We are rebranding the Vaccine Uptake Network as the Metropolis Social Determinants of Health Network (MSDHN).
This re-envisioned network aims to convene experts around the economic and social determinants of health for Canada's diverse population, with a special focus on immigration. MSDH will undertake empirical research and analysis of the economic and social determinants of health with a view to improving newcomer health literacy. Findings from the research will be regularly communicated with you.
As the pandemic evolves and Canadians adjust to a ‘new normal’, we have decided to merge our Vaccine Uptake Network and the Network to Inform Social Policy on COVID Variants and Vaccination (NISPCV) to reflect evolving circumstances. The Metropolis Social Determinants of Health network is the result of this merge, and aims to provide empirical research and multilingual resources in a changing health and COVID-19 landscape.
