The impacts of the pandemic are examined, showcasing data on the social inequities experienced by newcomers and First Nations Peoples at the time, as well as highlighting sectoral responses to support newcomers.

  • Navigating Francophone Immigration in Canada: Understanding, Collaboration, and Integration
    This course sets out to understand the impact that the intersection of immigration and diversity have on understandings of what it means to be Francophone across Canada. The increased diversity within the Francophonie Canadienne due to immigration, and the array of states from which migrants are immigrating to Canada from, are discussed. An understanding as to how intergovernmental, interorganizational, and intercommunal collaborations are necessary to operate an immigration system that simultaneously addresses the needs of the state, francophone communities and enterprises, and how integrating immigrants will be achieved.
