Dive into the CIMII, a measurement tool that evaluates the outcomes of immigrants compared to the Canadian-born population. Changes and trends over time are assessed for all 10 provinces and 35 cities across the country. CIMII users, with this readily-interpretable data, can design policies and programs as well as make decisions with evidence-based trends on the overall situation of immigrants across Canada.

Research Projects

"Combatting Racism and Discrimination in the Settlement Sector" was a year-long project that studied the challenges faced by racialized newcomers when accessing settlement services and identify best practices to combat discrimination in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. The project aimed to examine the lived-experiences of newcomers and the barriers faced in the settlement process, while in parallel, speaking with key informants from the settlement sector to identify best practices adopted by the settlement sector.
