There is a clear need for targeted online professional development. Our network of service providers, policy makers, researchers and educators told us – 95% of them want this kind of e-learning. The solution is accessible, practically-focused e-learning, harnessing the expertise of the network itself, packaged as engaging multimedia content in a pedagogically-sound framework. It is starting from these principles that we are building uMetropolis, our results-oriented online learning platform, designed to meet present and future challenges around migration, integration, inclusion and Canadian history. The platform – with our first range of courses - will be live March 2022.
